Street Closure: Westbound Lanes of Pioneer, Near MacArthur, June 13-14

The Public Works Department/Water Utilities will close the westbound lanes of Pioneer Drive near MacArthur Boulevard from 10 p.m. June 13 to 6 a.m. June 14 to work on a sewer main. Traffic will be diverted to Stewart Drive.

Notification of Street Closures for Thursday, July 4

The Irving Police Department will close the streets along the parade route at approximately 8:45 a.m. The duration of the parade is from 9 a.m. to approximately 10:30 a.m. The parade staging area — O'Connor and Rock Island roads to Rock Island Road to MacArthur Boulevard, and Sowers Street and Irving Boulevard to Sowers Street and Rock Island Road — also will be closed from 5 to 10 a.m.

Road Opening And Closure Advisory: Story Road Open to Traffic; Glenwick Lane Closed to Through Traffic

As of 2 p.m. May 20, Story Road is open to through traffic between Spanish Trail/Running Bear Park Entrance and Hunter Ferrell Road. Also, Glenwick Lane is closed to through traffic south of Ruby Road; access from Hunter Ferrell Road is closed.

The closure of Glenwick Lane is necessary to allow construction of the median on Hunter Ferrell Road at the Glenwick Lane intersection. It is expected that the Glenwick Lane at Hunter Ferrell Road will reopen to traffic in approximately two weeks.
