Professional Standards Unit Form
This is your police department and we welcome your comments. We encourage you to let us know about the quality of service you receive from our employees.
Through the use of this form, you may commend the actions of the employees of this Department. Verbal commendations may also be given to any Department supervisor.
You may also use this form if you believe that the conduct of an employee was inappropriate. This will result in an investigation of your complaint. You may also request to speak to a supervisor at any police station, or directly to the Professional Standards Unit. The Professional Standards Unit is located at the Criminal Justice Center, 305 N. O'Connor Blvd. They can be reached at 972-721-2471.
We also encourage you to send us your suggestions on how we can better serve you.
A note about complaints:
While the Irving Police Department encourages complaints or compliments, it is difficult to conduct an investigation and make a determination based on anonymous information. If you wish to make an anonymous complaint, in order to assist investigators with the most detailed information, please call the Professional Standards Unit at (972) 721-3510 or 972-721-2555.
