Building Standards

The Building Standards Division works to continuously enhance the quality of life for all people in Irving and make Irving neighborhoods safe, vibrant and attractive. It is a great success for the community when a substandard structure that poses a risk to public health and safety is restored to good condition. The City of Irving Building Standard codes are intended to benefit everyone while making our neighborhoods a better place to live, work and play.
