About Towne is a biweekly half-hour arts series that highlights Irving’s excellent local artists and craftsmen, entertainment venues and arts organizations. It also serves the viewing audience by publicizing upcoming concerts, performances, festivals and events. About Towne is Irving’s source for news and information on entertainment and the arts.

About Towne - On this episode we’ll meet young artists featured in the Irving ISD Annual Exhibition of Art. We’ll attend FiberFest 2014 at the Irving Convention Center. And, we’ll tour the newly redesigned AMC Theater at Irving Mall. Plus, we’ll preview the Irving Black Arts Council’s 2nd Annual Short Film Festival, we’ll get the details on TexasFest 2014, and have news on the Irving Schools Foundation’s “Breakfast with the Stars.”

About Towne - We’ll have highlights from the 7th annual Celebrating Irving: the City and the Man. We’ll attend the “Influence of the Purse” fundraiser for the Irving International Women’s Consortium. And, we’ll meet the young artists featured in the Irving ISD High School Art Exhibition. Plus, we’ll get the details on the 50th Anniversary of Baylor Medical Center of Irving, the new International Concert Series and the 2014 Dragon Boat Festival.”
