It also serves the viewing audience by publicizing upcoming concerts, performances, festivals and events. About Towne is Irving’s source for news and information on entertainment and the arts.

About Towne - We visit Tiff Treats for some fresh out of the oven cookies. We also attend TEXSOM 2014 to learn how this local event is taking the wine industry by storm. And, we find out how the La Cima Club Charity Classic is supporting Irving Cares. Plus, Susan Kamyab talks with the stars of “If I Stay,” and we’ll visit with Tony Grimes about the NAACP Freedom Fund Luncheon.

About Towne - We’ll meet the members of the Silver Leaf Band – back together after a 30 year hiatus. Plus, we’ll attend La Cima Club’s 2014 Charity Classic, “Deep in the Heart of Texas.” And, we’ll meet the young ballerinas aspiring to a role in Momentum Dance Company’s production of “The Nutcracker.” We’ll also have the details on Irving Cares signature fundraiser, The Great Harvest, we’ll preview The Big Read 2014 events, and we’ll learn about the new Peruvian Gold exhibit coming to the Irving Arts Center.
