Construction Board of Appeals Ordinance
Purpose
The Board hears and renders decisions on appeals from the decisions of the building official and fire chief.
Meetings
The board meets as needed; meetings are held at Irving City Hall, 825 W. Irving Blvd.
Member 2012-13
Consists of seven voting members, including one resident, one master electrician or electrical contractor, one master plumber or plumbing contractor, one class "A" license mechanical (HVAC) contractor or mechanical engineer, one home builder, one representative from the fire protection industry and one licensed architect or engineer. The building official shall be an ex-officio member, the department director and fire chief shall be ex-officio members.
