Dallas County Home Chemical Collection

The Dallas County Home Chemical Collection Center, part of the Dallas Area Household Hazardous Waste Network, offers a free service for residents of Addison, Dallas, DeSoto, Duncanville, Famers Branch, Garland, Highland Park, Irving, Mesquite, Richardson, Rowlett, Sachse, Seagoville, University Park, and unincorporated areas of Dallas County.

All others pay a minimum $95 waste management fee. Please bring your driver’s license and water bill or other utility bill as proof of residency.

  • Batteries of all kinds
  • Craft and hobby supplies
  • Fluorescent light tubes
  • Paint and home repair products
  • Household cleaners and polishes
  • Automotive fluids and oil filters
  • Chemical products for home use
  • Lawn and garden chemicals
  • Computers and cell phones
Items Not Accepted
  • Medical waste
  • Construction debris
  • Radioactive materials
  • Business or commercial waste
  • Containers larger than five gallons
  • Explosives or ammunition
  • Shock sensitive materials
  • Smoke detectors
  • Common trash or recyclables
  • Appliances, televisions, or microwaves
