About Towne is a biweekly half-hour arts series that highlights Irving’s excellent local artists and craftsmen, entertainment venues and arts organizations. It also serves the viewing audience by publicizing upcoming concerts, performances, festivals and events.

On this episode of About Towne we’ll learn about Irving’s past at Mary’s Birthday Party. We’ll take an artistic road trip with Steven Benezue:  Mapping Spaces, and we’ll have highlights from the 53rd annual One Act Play Competition. Plus, we’ll have details on the Lone Star Youth Orchestra’s auditions, La Cima Club’s Charity Classic and the Irving Black Arts Council teams up with Soul Rep Theater Company to bring “The Trinity Rivers Plays” to Irving.
