The Urban Outdoors Program is designed for boys and girls ages 8 to 18. It's goal is to provide a safe and secure environment for kids to learn about and appreciate the great outdoors, by participating in outdoor activities. The program focuses on outdoor skills emphasizing trust, respect, accountability and leadership. The programs are free of charge, but only a limited number of participants will be able to attend each program due to facility and manpower constraints. Some of the programs offered include archery, camping, kayaking, fishing, hunting, mountain biking and rock climbing.
